iPhone Vs Android - Should You Get an iPhone or an Android Phone?

Although there are many companies competing for dominance of the smartphone, at this time the two titans go head to dominate the consumer smartphone arena. With apologies Blackberry, Windows 7 Phone and Palm OS, Google Android and Apple iOS are the two best mobile operating systems now.

Now, Verizon is officially getting the iPhone, there was a lot more questions on my blog about which phone is better iPhone or a high end Android phones.

This is slightly more difficult question to answer because both have different strengths, so I thought I'd put together this article addresses some of the advantages and disadvantages offered by each mobile operating system.

elections - the advantage of Android

If you are looking for lots of different choices, then free all the way. With iPhone, you have two choices, this year's model and year model. Every year, Apple releases a new phone. It seems as though the new Android phone coming out every few days - there are more than 100 Android powered phones and that number continues to grow. Android can be found in low-cost phones that are free with two year contract and $ 250 with two year contract. You can get a different screen size and choose any carrier you want.

Apps - iPhone advantage

Now that the iPhone is available on two carriers in the U.S. are not stuck with AT & T, which is a good thing for many people like AT & T had more than its share of problems with the network over the years with the iPhone . However, the iPhone is not yet available for Sprint or Tmobile offering the lowest prices of the plans Verizon and AT & T so the advantage here goes to Android.

Ease of use - the advantage of the iPhone

You probably do not want to take a degree in engineering to use the phone. While Android is relatively easy to use, it's still not nearly as intuitive as iPhone.IPhone has a simple elegance to it. Android powered smartphone tend to appeal more tech savvy crowd. Again, this is a matter of preference. Just as with computers, some people like Windows, and some people like the Mac OS. Go to the store and play with for a bit and see what appeals to you more, but if you hate computers and barely know how to turn one on, stick with the iPhone because it is easier.

Conclusion - to you

While I could make a case that was better in the end it will depend on what you want. I personally love my Android phone, but I played with a lot of iPhone and found it fun and easy to use too. Get the one you like best.
